Each weekly submission will count for one giveaway entry submission. You may enter up to to 5 submissions, one for each week. (ex. Minimum 1 response = 1 drawing entry, Maximum 5 responses = 5 drawing entries)
The deadline is Saturday, July 31st. The winner will be randomly selected on Monday, August 2nd, 2021. Chic Sparrow will contact the winner and and they will be announced in the August Journaling Prompts blog post.

Journaling is a great way to get to know ourselves better and process our relationships with others. Describe how your writing practice helps you fulfill your self care needs. Does journaling help you become a better friend or family member?
Week 2 Writing Prompt: July 4-10
What are your favorite small/local businesses to support & why? Do these businesses help you feel connected to a community?
Whether it’s visiting an independent coffee shop or buying Chic Sparrow leather travelers notebook covers, supporting small businesses are a great way to use your purchasing power for good. Write about how it makes you feel to support small businesses.
Week 3 Writing Prompt: July 11-17
How can you expand your social circle? What are some ways to meet new people in your community? (ex. book club, meet-up groups, take a class etc.)
Whether in person or online, building a community is a great way to make you feel connected to others. Brainstorm some different ways to meet new people and expand your social circle.
Week 4 Writing Prompt: July 18-24
How do you define an online community? How does your current online community (social media, forums, blogs etc.) make you feel connected to others?
We love the journaling and stationary community, and social media is a great way to stay connected. Describe your online community and express what they mean to you!
Week 5 Writing Prompt: July 25-31
Write a gratitude letter to a long distance friend or family member in your journal. Try taking a photo of it and text/email it to them, or send the letter in the mail!
Show thanks for someone who made an impact on your life. Sharing a gratitude letter is a great way to strengthen your bond with others and reflect on how much they mean to you. This is a feel-good practice for both the giver and receiver of the letter.

June Journaling Prompt #3: Plan your fantasy summer vacation to a national park. Where would you go and why? What about that location inspires you?
Lindsay’s Response: “I would love to visit Zion National Park in Utah. It's been on my bucket list for awhile now. I've visited and hiked in most of the California National Parks so I'd love to venture out. Plus, from the pictures I've seen, Zion is absolutely gorgeous. I'm hoping to get there sometime this year!”
