I have several Austen Cascade notebook covers in various sizes and colors and they are my tried and true go-to carries! I love the richness and the feel of the leather with the perfect thickness to have form but stiffness. In addition, they age beautifully without needing to be pampered. I throw it in my work bag, as well as my carry on, without a worry. I have many well made, beautifully crafted leather covers from Chic Sparrow but the Austen Cascade is my favorite.

I chose the Coffee House 10 in Raspberry Syrup, as I love the color and already own a Travelers Notebook in the same color. In fact, my sister and I purchased kindles in this color too!. The texture of the notebook and the Number 10 are similar.

This B6 is so beautiful. I have a a few of the older designs and even though I really like them I was pleased to have a new design. My order also included a free gift that was something I would not have chosen for myself however it was a great surprise and look forward to using it as well.

When I set out to buy my first Sparrow, I was flummoxed at the choices - so many beautiful leathers! When I ordered my first Austen in Darcy, I was stunned at this leather and instantly smitten - the scent is heavenly, the hand feel dreamy, and the look is stunning! I was obsessed enough to order three more in Austen Emma - an A4 custom, a Half Letter custom with light antiquing, and a No.8. Initially I tried to keep my Emmas out of the sun, but then I realized they patina to a gorgeous buttery amber - they only get more beautiful with use and time! You can't go wrong with this leather!

I love that notebook cover so much! The color is gorgeous, and the leather is soft but firm at the same time. Even though it’s pocket size, a was able to put a sterling ink planner and 4 small booklets inside. The leather scratches easily but I don’t mind it. Curious to see how it will age.

I love my Austen A6. (& b6 slim, pocket plus, & narrow). I love carrying it in my hands. It has a light sheen. It is not floooy but not hard or stiff. Nice easy structure. This leather does scratch easily but it is the personality of what Austen is. It patinas beautifully! My favorite!

This leather is a classic staple! Whether this is your first purchase or you’ve been collecting for a while, Austen is an absolute must have.

My Austen Emma in Narrow Cascade (Paired with Austen Emma in Nano which is my wallet) is a mainstay in my collection! I bought it a few years ago, and it has patina’d nicely. The leather softens, gets shinier and more pliable with use. I can’t bear to part with it. It is my comfort. Believe me, this is not the only Austen notebook cover in my collection!
