Product Discrepancy: The item I received had a pronounced, dark texture that was a stark contrast to the beautiful, smooth version featured as the primary product photo on the website. The expectation set by the featured image was completely unmet.
Critical Process Flaw: This discrepancy is a direct result of the company's inadequate ordering system. There are no available options (such as a drop-down menu or comment box) at checkout to select the desired texture. Requiring customers to separately contact the shop to specify a critical aesthetic detail like this is a severe operational flaw and, frankly, is not how modern e-commerce should function. If the preferred smooth version is used as the representative image, it must be the default item shipped; otherwise, the default texture must be clearly stated in the product details.
I decided to forego the hassle of a return or exchange and will manage the item myself. I sincerely hope the company recognizes how significantly flawed this process is and makes immediate revisions to prevent future frustrating incidents for its customers.
