Maplewood — Veg Tan

Maplewood is a vegetable tanned leather with a smooth surface and a structured feel that softens over time. Vegetable tanning creates a leather that develops a rich patina, gradually deepening in color with use.

This leather begins lighter, especially in the natural option, and darkens with handling and exposure to light. It shows subtle wrinkles and range marks, but maintains a more even and refined appearance than heavily marked leathers.

This is a balanced leather. It offers the character of veg tan with a cleaner finish, making it ideal for those who want visible aging without a heavily distressed look.
