Hand Crafted Leather Conditioner

Condition and protect your leather travelers notebook covers with Chic Sparrow Leather Balm. This special blend of ingredients will keep your leather looking lush and well cared for.

Hand blended and poured in small batches.
Conditions and protects full grain (smooth surface) leather

Ingredients

We use a proprietary blend of organic ingredients that include shea butter and beeswax

Caution:

Not recommended for textured Leathers

Conditioning treatments will alter the appearance of full-grain leather and may change the tone, scent, and texture. Always test a small area and wait 24 hours to see the true color

Directions:

For best results, warm before applying*

Apply to clean, dry leather
Apply a small amount evenly over the entire surface
Let sit for 10 minutes
Buff with dry, soft cloth

*You can warm a small scoop in your hands, or if the balm is too hard, you can warm the whole tin with a heat gun or hair dryer for a couple seconds before using

Strap-closure designs are most content with three to four average inserts and a dashboard or two that do not exceed 1.25 inches or 2.7cm. The strap keeps everything neat and secure, but it does not stretch like elastic, so a moderate, tidy setup is ideal.

This natural leather conditioner "applies evenly" and "doesn't feel tacky," producing a "beautiful mirror-like sheen" when buffed. Customers said it effectively reduces scratches, preserves color, and softens leather. However, one customer received a rancid batch with granulating particles. Most praised its pleasant scent and long-lasting tin size for maintaining leather goods.

The leather balm applies evenly although it may not look even. I used a microfiber wash cloth to buff out the balm. My leather planner cover looks beautiful & remains its original color, a natural color.

Fabulous Leather Balm

Best leather balm, hands down, and a side bonus is that it made my cuticles so soft.

Sadly, I wish I had tried just one first, BUT I bought 2 tins, and both of them seemed like they had out-lived their shelf life...They DID NOT smell great, as I was told they would...actually a bit rancid, and the consistency was really weird...granulating particles on the top, and even down, into the tin. I am pretty disappointed in my $40 spent on this product. I guess I got an "bad batch"????. Please, some-one let me know that they had a smooth product, with no lumpy granulating particles in the mix and that it smelt good...That is what I was hoping for, but not what I received, sadly....Janis

Our balm is crafted in small batches, and I’ve personally checked a tin from the same batch as yours to ensure quality. The occasional small lumps are simply shea butter, which can sometimes appear this way but does not affect the product’s effectiveness. The natural scent comes from the cocoa butter – it has a warm, rich aroma that some people enjoy, while others may find it a bit different from what they're used to in leather care.

Unlike polish, this balm is designed as a protective, nourishing treatment for leather, safe for skin as well. Our formula uses only natural ingredients, which we believe offers the best in care for both you and your leather.

Almost like new again

I didnt know you had to let the conditioner sit for 10 minutes. I rubbed it in small areas at a time, kind of like polishing shoes. It came out great. The deeper scratches arent gone but im ok with that and honestly didnt expect them to be covered up.

Simply the best

I've used this on all kinds of untreated full grain leathers and the results are fantastic. The balm darkens the leather slightly and best of all, gives the untreated leather a durable and really beautiful mirror-like sheen (sort like the Mr Darcy sheen) when buffed hard after the balm dries.

Great for touch-ups!

I used this on the edges of my Deluxe Odyssey Kronos. They looked a bit raw and felt rough, especially where the pockets made a fairly thick edge. Just a touch of the Leather Balm on my fingertips, and a bit of elbow grease rubbing it in, and those edges look beautiful and feel smooth! It also made a rather deep scratch on the pocket go away almost completely. I won’t do a full condition until late fall, but I am very pleased with how it can help with maintaining the beautiful look and feel of my Odyssey leather! The amount is also generous. This will last me for a long time, even once I start doing full conditioning.

This balm is much larger than I expected, which is awesome! I had some chic sparrows that were starting to dry out and this stuff brings them back to their natural beauty! Happy purchase!

Leather Balm

Tried it once and since every time a get a scratch on my journal I just rub the area with my fingers and it usually goes away. When the scratch is too deep, I will rub in a little of the leather balm and that always work.
It has kept my journal in very good condition.

Miracle worker!

I bought this product when I had to clean a water spot of my creme brûlée. I followed all the directions on the website and finished with the leather balm. Voila! Not only was the spot gone (I was thrilled!), but my TN was beautiful and so very soft. It felt wonderful to the touch and had a lovely sheen. Love, love this product!

Leather Balm

Great, great product. I've only used it once so far, but it smells great and makes the notebooks look more beautiful, if that's even possible! So glad to have found a natural product and by the vendor who makes the notebooks. No more guessing which product to use or worrying about what affect they will have on the leather. Please continue to make this product. It was out of stock for a bit but well worth the wait!

Absolutely amazing!!

This leather balm is by far the best I've tried! I previously used Lexol products for my TNs, but after using this balm (specifically on my patina Wee Cottage Sparrow), I will never go back!! You will definitely be satisfied with this purchase!!!
