Softbound Blue Leather Rebind with Blue Edges

128.00

This book began as a Moleskine rebind.

I took the original lined text block and wrapped it in blue chrome-tanned leather, giving it a new cover with a soft, flexible feel in the hand.

The pages are lined and ready for daily writing, notes, lists, planning, or whatever needs a place to land. The edges are finished with blue art gilt, giving the book a clean flash of color when closed. It also has a blue ribbon bookmark, gold headbands, and parchment endsheets.

It measures approximately 8.5" tall, 5 3/8" wide, and .5" thick.

This is a one-of-a-kind rebind, made for someone who loves useful paper, soft leather, and books with visible character. It has the familiarity of a lined notebook, with the added warmth of something remade by hand.

This is an experimental piece and should be understood as a one-of-a-kind handmade book, not a factory-perfect product. Because of its experimental nature, it has been priced accordingly.

Stuffability Scale
A guide to how much this cover likes to be filled.
Level 1 — Ultra Slim · 1–2 inserts
  • 1 · Ultra Slim — folio and bookcover designs for a single notebook or bound book, occasionally a second very slim companion.
  • 2 · Slim Everyday — ideal for 2–3 inserts and a simple, graceful daily carry.
  • 3 · Standard Stuffable — designs with strap closures, happiest with 3–4 average inserts and a little room for dashboards.
  • 4 · High Capacity — Traveler’s Notebooks with elastic closures that love layered, “chunky” journaling setups.
  • 5 · Maximalist — trifolds and leather wrap styles for generous, overflowing notebooks and keepsakes.
Folio and bookcover styles are happiest with a single notebook or bound book, sometimes a second very slim insert. Think “quiet companion,” not “packed trunk”.
