Every page in these books began by hand. Each sheet was folded, each gathering was punched, and every signature was sewn into a text block before being wrapped in leather. A zero-waste books made from beautiful materials sourced from the studio.

Traditional Meets Personal

I use as many traditional bookbinding methods as I can while including a few of my own. They are slow-made books with visible character, crafted for someone who loves the tactile experience of paper, thread, leather, and time.

Design Details

A vintage textbook "The Life Of Birds" forms the perfect cover for this journal, with a spine crafted from Artist Leather (Hayez).  This is a ONE of ONE,  I will not make another like this.

Folio and bookcover styles are happiest with a single notebook or bound book, sometimes a second very slim insert. Think “quiet companion,” not “packed trunk”.
