    Stuffability Scale
A guide to how much this cover likes to be filled.
    Level 3 — Standard Stuffable · 3–4 inserts
    • 1 · Ultra Slim — folio and bookcover designs for a single notebook or bound book, occasionally a second very slim companion.
    • 2 · Slim Everyday — ideal for 2–3 inserts and a simple, graceful daily carry.
    • 3 · Standard Stuffable — designs with strap closures, happiest with 3–4 average inserts and a little room for dashboards.
    • 4 · High Capacity — Traveler’s Notebooks with elastic closures that love layered, “chunky” journaling setups.
    • 5 · Maximalist — trifolds and leather wrap styles for generous, overflowing notebooks and keepsakes.
Strap-closure designs are most content with three to four average inserts and a dashboard or two that do not exceed 1.25 inches or 2.7cm. The strap keeps everything neat and secure, but it does not stretch like elastic, so a moderate, tidy setup is ideal.

Customers praised this leather journal cover as "the softest" and "absolutely gorgeous," noting it "almost puddles" with its supple texture. The Amber color and pebbled finish received high marks. Shoppers appreciated that it "slides effortlessly" into pockets. However, one customer reported the snap closure requires significant force to fasten.

I have never purchased a Campfire in a No

I have never purchased a Campfire in a No. 10, but I have quite a lot of the old Creme Brulee leather covers. I did not realize what a treat the new Campfire Amber No.10 would be! It arrived smelling divine, and is distinctive from any of my other creme brulee covers - this leather is soft and it almost puddles as a no. 10. I don't know how else to describe it - it is the softest Campfire I have ever owned. It is made thinner for the No. 10, so not the thick type, but I find Campfire is my forever favorite, and having this delicious thinner No. 10 is amazing. Truly incredible TN, beautiful leather, and expertly selected and composed piece!! Lovely!!

Crème Brûlée in Number 10 is a New Favorite!

I placed an order for a customized Creme Brûlée in Number 10 and received it today. It is squishy soft and my B6 Slim Common Planner notebook slides effortlessly in the back folio pocket. This is definitely a keeper in my collection, and will get used a lot.

Love the smell of the leather when I unpacked this new A5 cover

Love the smell of the leather when I unpacked this new A5 cover. Snugged a Hobonichi in one side after gently stretching the inside flaps by finger tip. Then a Galen Leather leather covered journal under the other flap...fit like a glove. A small personal embossed nickname in the bottom left makes it a deeply personal journal. The tab closure serves as my pen holder allowing me to use pen clips. A few personal cards inserted inside almost immediately for safe keeping. That snap closure is built to last and requires a solid push for a satisfying snap. I asked for a very mild pebble and got just what I wanted. If there are leather flaws I do not see them and found the leather well tanned, uniform and blemishes free. I will say it is a thicker leather and the internal elastic band set up for that style notebook insert is brilliant in that it has not punched the covers spine. Bravo on that design feature. Final thought is there is ample room for the single book insert and it can get as chonky as your biceps will allow with plenty of room to customize your carry items.

My only gripe is the shipping was slow (no free gift in my shipment either - unless it was a sticker, but it was well wrapped). The planner slowly moved along the US west Coast for about 2 weeks and another week to get to me in Canada. My Galen Leather Weeks Hobonichi cover ordered from Turkey at same time as this cover arrived before the Chic Sparrow by a full week.

I started a ChicSparrow_Planners community for people to share their planner covers pictures and share and discuss how they use them on Reditt.

Thank you, Rob. We loved reading how you are using your Campfire No. 10, and we are so glad the design works well for your Hobonichi. Every Chic Sparrow piece is made specifically for its customer by our small team here in Washington, so your comments about the leather, construction, and thoughtful details mean a great deal to us. We hope you enjoy using it for many years.

    Crème Brûlée number 10

Beautiful cover, I love the texture. The only downfall is the snap closure. It does not close easily at all on mine. It takes a lot of force to get it to snap.
