It’s not hard to see why the Campfire Collection has been popular since Chic Sparrow began. Made from leather that is chrome-tanned and oil-treated, Campfire notebooks are powder-smooth, soft, and pliable. They feature a naturally matte finish and dramatic grain that will not scratch easily and patinas beautifully with daily use. Crème fans are drawn to its buttery texture and wonderful aroma.

    Level 3 — Standard Stuffable · 3–4 inserts
    • 1 · Ultra Slim — folio and bookcover designs for a single notebook or bound book, occasionally a second very slim companion.
    • 2 · Slim Everyday — ideal for 2–3 inserts and a simple, graceful daily carry.
    • 3 · Standard Stuffable — designs with strap closures, happiest with 3–4 average inserts and a little room for dashboards.
    • 4 · High Capacity — Traveler’s Notebooks with elastic closures that love layered, “chunky” journaling setups.
    • 5 · Maximalist — trifolds and leather wrap styles for generous, overflowing notebooks and keepsakes.
    Strap-closure designs are most content with three to four average inserts and a dashboard or two that do not exceed 1.25 inches or 2.7cm. The strap keeps everything neat and secure, but it does not stretch like elastic, so a moderate, tidy setup is ideal.

    What a dreamy leather!

    I was lucky to purchase a No. 8 design in Campfire, and it is absolutely perfect. The Amber leather is a favorite. As you can see in the photo, the texture is varied, with beautiful markings. Artwork. I love using this notebook cover, either to hold a moleskin expanded, or to hold my favorite paperback book. It feels so good in the hand.

    Impeccable Quality and Absolutely Beautiful

    I'm amazed at the beauty of the Chocolate Creme #8 that I received. Honestly, it couldn't be any better. The texture is exactly what I wanted and, this color is so accurate you expect it to smell like a candy bar.

    I'd added custom width and it perfectly holds my 500 pg journal. I am beyond ecstatic with my cover. Much thanks CS.

    Heirloom Quality

    I love this design! I now have three (with the purchase of this Amber) and I’m not sure that is enough. It is the most comfortable size for my backpack and holds my cheap A5 hard cover journals that I use for work. I can’t be happier with the quality and beauty of Chic Sparrow leathers and functional designs. Absolute perfection!

    A thicc cover

    This definitely is my most visually appealing cover and such a joy to just hold and touch. It is truly gorgeous. I feel so put together when I bring this into my rotation. The creme line in No 8 does best for someone who likes a desk piece or journals at a desk. This is quite a hefty leather. It is soft and has a squish factor that most will enjoy. This is not ideal for someone looking to carry it with them due to the weight.
