AUSTEN COLLECTION
The Austen collection is a beloved line at Chic Sparrow. We have offered several brown leathers in this collection, but the one that’s stood the test of time is Darcy (formerly known as Toffee). This leather is praised for it’s sensitive surface. It develops a beautiful patina with time and use.

FLEXIBILITY: Firm yet pliable

VARIATION: Fat wrinkles, striations, moles & freckles

MAVERICK / SCOUT COLLECTION
Maverick is a CS favorite, and these travelers notebooks are known for their durability. This is the thickest leather we offer, and Maverick/Scout TNs will withstand heavy use without losing any charm. The lightning strikes ensure that no two covers are alike and the leather won’t change over time.

TEXTURE: Crackled & marbled texture

CRÈME COLLECTION
Tried and true, Crème offers the resiliency of a thick leather with a buttery soft surface. This leather is known for it’s textured surface, and you’ll notice a range of pebble sizes ranging from small to large. This leather will hold it’s color over time and won’t patina.

SURFACE: Slightly matte
TEXTURE: Varies from smooth to pebbled

WAYPOINT COLLECTION
Waypoint is a rugged, oily leather with lots of texture variation. Offered in a range of neutral colors, this collection has been a CS standard for many years. We love the pull up effect of this leather, because it reveals a lighter color underneath.

FLEXIBILITY: Flexible yet stable
SURFACE: Slightly matte, high oil content
TEXTURE: Varied pebbled surface with pull-up
VARIATION: Textured surface, striations

EXPRESS COLLECTION
The Express Collection is known for it’s shiny, marbled surface and flexibility. You’ll love how the color and texture stays true over time, and won’t change with use. The color striations and scratch resistant surface are the highlights of the Express Collection.

TEXTURE: Varied marbled surface

ARTIST COLLECTION
Hand dyed in Italy, the leathers in the Artist Collection have a range of color variation and a slightly shiny surface. These leathers have a scratch resistant surface and they won’t easily patina, so the colors and texture will stay true over time.
HAND: Extra soft, hand-dyed Italian leather
FLEXIBILITY: Very thin, floppy and flexible
SURFACE: Slightly shiny
TEXTURE: Ranges from smooth to light pebbles
VARIATION: Color variation, may have dye marks on back
SCRATCHES EASILY?: No
CALLAHAN COLLECTION (Limited Edition)
With a vintage aesthetic, the colors in the Callahan collection are a range of warm brown tones. Each color has different qualities, but the common thread is the smooth surface. This collection scratches easily, but the scuffs will easily blend in over time.
