The medium hand feel offered by the Emma in the Austen Collection is reminiscent in my mind of the Tea House Collection. Emma is a vegetable-tanned leather that collects beautiful scuffs, scratches, & patina with time and use.
This along with the white contrast topstitching of the Heritage design prove Emma to be a wanted staple among travelers notebook connoisseurs & first-timers alike.
On another topic, due to the overwhelming request for pen loops to be stitched in, it has been decided that the curved pen loop design will return for the Heritage & Cascade models. The Nº7 & the Cascade Folio models will continue to be made with the removable pen loop.
